Vehicle scissor lift-electrical components protection

Electrical components protection is one part of the vehicle scissor lift test, the purpose of the test is to ensure the good condition of the scissor lift, especially for the ones that haven’t been used for a long time. So how can you do it in the correct way?

1.    The electrical devices and components fit with the power source and working environment and working conditions.  Manually controlled voltage is the safe voltage. (examine the using of electrical components, use electric instruments if necessary )

2.    The electrical components should be sealed after the installation to avoid the water flowing into it. All electric components should stay away from the oil and water, the electric wires shall have insulating sleeve on it where it goes through the metal hole. This can be done by visual inspection.

3.    If it is using the storage battery, it has to be fixed in the case, all live parts should avoid the short circuit, the resistors temperature should keep in the proper range, otherwise it would be overheated and damaged.

4.    When the lifting cart’s speed is above 4km/h, the alarm device should be heard or seen clearly. This requires the outlook check and the movement test.
